Clients: Log In | Sign Up The Colorant-Chromatics Group's extensive product range comprises color concentrates and compounds with inherent high heat resistance, flame retardancy, chemical resistance and/or electrical properties - serving all industry needs. Major polymers processed are FEP, ETFE, ECTFE, PFA, MFA, PVdF, PEEK, THV and PES. In addition, the Group supplies a full range of pigment dispersions for coloring of PTFE (fine powder), Pyre-ML® and polyimide and striping and top-coat inks for FEP, ETFE, PFA, PTFE, PvdF and polyimide (Kapton®) as well as specialty additives for co-axial PTFE and FEP cables. Color concentrates are offered in various pigment strengths and in various viscosity grades of carrier resins to assure correct performance in the engineered manufacturing process. The Group manufactures color concentrates for the processing of FEP, ETFE, ECTFE, PFA, MFA, PVdF, PEEK, THV and PES. Trademarks that include these types of plastics are Fluon®, Dyneon®, Halar®, Kynar®, Neoflon®, Solef®, Teflon®, Hyflon®, Hylar® and Tefzel®. Color concentrates are offered in the company’s standard color line, Munsell and RAL standards. The company also offers special services such as color matching, pre-coloring and toll compounding. The Colorant-Chromatics Group offers a wide variety of fluoropolymer specialty compounds that feature improved properties: improved lubricity, mechanical strength, static dissipation, X-ray fluorescence, and electrical performance. Current offerings include cross-linkable versions of ETFE, ECTFE, PVdF and THV, reinforced grades, and foam concentrates in several fluoropolymer resins. In addition, direct R&D support is provided to customers to support their fluoropolymer engineering needs with customized products. The Colorant-Chromatics Group offers a full line of dispersed pigments for PTFE paste extrusion, Pyre-ML® and polyimide. These dispersed pigments are offered in our standard color line as well as Munsell and RAL. Fluoropolymer dispersions are available for dip coating applications. The Colorant-Chromatics Group offers fluoropolymer printing and striping inks used for striping and offset printing of fluoropolymer insulations. Other special inks are available for printing and striping of different material such as PEEK and polyimide as well as other engineering resins.
